VERGE

VERGE   is intended to embody the feeling of being "on the verge" of something. That is to say, it expresses a state of anticipation for something happening soon—a thing that may be positive, negative, or anywhere in between. Often fixating on a repeated rhythm or sequence of the same few chords, this string quartet is meant to feel hypnotic, like it never quite figures out how to settle.
